Terms of Service
Version 2026-10-02 · Published on 2 October 2026. These terms apply when you create an account or buy a plan using this version.
1. Who operates PulseWatch
PulseWatch is operated by Christopher Healey, a sole trader in the United Kingdom. Business correspondence address: 35 Cardamon Road, Saffron Walden, CB11 3FE, England. Contact support@pulsewatch.ai for support, billing, cancellation or complaints. This mailbox is monitored.
The service is for adults aged 18 or over worldwide, including individuals and businesses. By creating an account you agree to these terms and confirm that you are an adult and, where relevant, authorised to act for your organisation. Your mandatory consumer rights under applicable local law are preserved.
2. What monitoring provides
Your jobs send start and completion or failure pings to a private monitor URL. A separate watchdog checks the signals and can email you when a job is missing, failed or stuck. This is elapsed-time monitoring, not a calendar scheduler or a tool that reads your job files or checks the accuracy of job output.
A monitor without any pings is silent. The first successful run establishes the successful-run timing baseline; a first start or failure without a success can be reported as MISSING. Check cadence, scheduling delay and email delivery affect when alerts arrive. Alerts are transition-based and ordinary alerts may be suppressed while a job is flapping. See the setup guide for these behaviours.
We remain responsible for providing PulseWatch with reasonable care and skill and as described. You remain responsible for your jobs, the signals they send and how you use monitoring results. Assess results in context and use additional controls where your work requires them. This does not exclude our responsibility for the service or your legal remedies. No guaranteed uptime, alert delivery time or Indie support response time is offered.
3. Accounts and permitted use
Keep your password and private ping URLs confidential. Anyone holding a ping URL can send signals. Monitor only jobs you own or are authorised to operate. Do not access another customer's data, send false signals to another monitor, evade plan limits, break the law or disrupt the service.
Use short, non-sensitive monitor names and optional failure messages. Do not include passwords, keys, card details, sensitive records or other people's personal information. You retain ownership of your information and allow us to process it to deliver the service as described in the Privacy notice. This service is not offered for processing third-party personal datasets under a data-processing agreement.
4. Plans and payment
- Free: US$0, up to 2 active monitors, checks approximately every 30 minutes.
- Solo: US$7 monthly base price, up to 10 active monitors, checks approximately every 10 minutes.
- Indie: US$19 monthly base price, no active-monitor cap, checks approximately every 5 minutes. Priority support means prioritisation of support requests, with no guaranteed response time.
Free requires no card. Free history shows the last seven days; paid history has no age cutoff. Every plan's history screen displays up to 100 recent runs per monitor. Replaced runs are internal history. Display limits are not deletion periods or promises of permanent storage.
Paid Checkout may be unavailable while launch verification is outstanding. When available, paid plans recur monthly until renewal is turned off. The price, currency and whether tax is included or added are shown before payment. Your bank may charge for currency conversion. Christopher Healey is not VAT registered. Stripe Managed Payments acts as merchant of record for eligible transactions and handles applicable transaction taxes; that does not remove every obligation of PulseWatch's operator.
Checkout is linked to your signed-in PulseWatch account, not matched solely by a billing email. You must expressly request immediate paid service before Checkout starts. There is no deferred-service or trial alternative. Paid access begins after the matching positive paid invoice is confirmed, not merely on returning from Checkout. Your request and purchase information are saved, and you can download your purchase information and these terms from purchase status. If confirmed payment has not provided access, contact support; the owner investigates and can correct access or arrange an appropriate refund manually.
Contact support to change an existing paid subscription; do not purchase a second subscription as an upgrade. Failed payments do not extend the confirmed paid period. Existing access continues through that period unless the subscription actually ends earlier or a separate applicable cancellation right is exercised.
5. Turning off renewal and cancelling the initial contract
Turning off renewal
Email support@pulsewatch.ai to turn off renewal. Include your PulseWatch account email and, if available, a subscription or purchase reference. Do not send passwords, private ping URLs or card details. Support handles this manually and confirms the effective date. A clear request received before the next renewal stops that renewal; if operator delay causes a charge after such a request, support will arrange its refund.
Turning off renewal keeps paid access until the end of the confirmed paid period. There is no cancellation fee. Outside an applicable initial cancellation/refund right, turning off renewal does not itself create a refund entitlement for the current period. Rights where service is faulty or not provided as agreed remain unaffected.
Applicable initial cancellation and refund right
A UK consumer entering the initial contract online normally has 14 days from entering that contract to cancel without a reason. If you exercise that applicable right, PulseWatch's policy is a full refund of the initial payment, including if paid service began at your express request. The immediate-start request does not waive cancellation rights or this full-refund policy. Other applicable mandatory rights, including any extended cancellation period, are preserved.
Send any clear statement that you wish to exercise this right to support@pulsewatch.ai, or write to the address above. A special form and a reason are not required. The owner checks the account, stops the subscription and arranges a full initial-payment refund to the original payment method within 14 days of being informed, without a refund fee. This is a manual support process; submitting a message or changing a PulseWatch plan does not automatically cancel or refund anything in Stripe. Support confirms completion. Exercising this right ends paid service rather than merely scheduling non-renewal.
Model cancellation form
This service-specific form follows the official model in Schedule 3, Part B. You may copy it into an email or print it. Use it only if you wish to cancel the initial service contract. You can instead send any clear cancellation statement; use of this form is optional.

Deleting a monitor, stopping pings, logging out or changing access in admin does not cancel Stripe billing. We do not provide a self-service Stripe cancellation or refund button.
6. Downgrades, deletion and account closure
At a downgrade the owner can keep an explicit selection of monitors active up to the target limit. All other monitors and their history remain but are paused: no checks or alerts. With no selection, all monitors pause. A paused ping returns a conflict response and records no run. Upgrading does not automatically resume paused jobs. An explicit resume waits for fresh pings and does not alert from historical state. Ask support to record which jobs you want kept active before paid access ends.
You can delete a monitor and its runs from the application database. This does not erase delivered emails or immediately erase provider/back-up copies. Account closure, account correction and data access/export requests are handled manually through support. A request to close a paid account also requests that renewal be stopped; support verifies identity, clarifies the monitoring effect, arranges a requested data copy where applicable, and handles billing and deletion separately. There is no self-service account-delete, export or password-reset feature. The Privacy notice explains your rights and the remaining retention verification.
7. Changes and complaints
We may make technical and security changes. Material changes will be explained in advance where practicable, with your options; a new price requires your agreement before it is charged. We will not retrospectively remove your rights or change the agreed price for a paid period. If we cannot continue agreed paid service, contact support about ending it and a refund for unused prepaid service. A serious legal or security issue may require proportionate suspension; we will explain it as soon as reasonably possible and you can challenge it through support.
Send complaints to support or the business address. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, without removing mandatory consumer protections or court rights in your country. Nothing excludes liability where it cannot lawfully be excluded, including fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence. No blanket customer indemnity or financial liability cap is imposed by these terms.
